Member Club

Club Organization: The secretary of WIFFA will set basic rules for member club. Member business can recommend itself or some other companies to form regional WIFFA club, after examination of WIFFA committee. Every region can only have one member club. The initiator company can become the chairman of the club, and the chairmanship lasts for one or two years. Next club chairman can be recommended by the former chairman or other club members. The obligations of the club chairman include deciding club structure and organizing club activities. The club activities will be designed for common interests of club members, meanwhile, the chairman can invite external business who can provide valuable services to club members to attend club activities.

Club Activity:
  • 1. Business Trip Assistance: If one WIFFA member receives another member’s requirement on business trip assistance in the region, the local member must help the other member to book the hotel at lowest rate or help the other member recommend reliable companies from local. In such way, a good network can be formed accordingly.
  • 2. Salon and Other Social Activities: Every club should organize salon or social activities for at least two times or more each year to promote member’s communication and friendship.
  • 3. Commercial Activities: Group attendance to international event, group overseas visit, group business connection and group marketing.
  • 4. Media Relationship: Based on the union Media platform found by SHIPPINGCHINA and other reputable industrial Media, all WIFFA clubs can increase business, and make claims or corrections on abnormal or unreasonable industrial activities, and finally to form string WIFFA voice in the shipping world.
  • 5. China Mobile Network: WIFFA committee will sign contract with China Mobile to form a WIFFA member net to lower communication cost and create more effective connection.
  • 6. Others

Club Funding: The WIFFA committee will fund regional clubs with 10% of all current members’ annual fee. 50% of the funding will be managed by the secretary of WIFFA and another 50% will be managed by the regional clubs. After club activity, the club chairman can apply for the funding with the expenditure receipt from WIFFA committee. Any extra expenditure will be on regional club itself.

Club Clause: Any establishment of WIFFA club must have written clauses, and it should be done by the regional club chairman. It is designed for every club member's benefits.
